Craftsman Kentaro Ooyu has been working with wood from an early age, practicing carpentry professionally and studying under father and master woodworker Hiroyuki Ooyu at the Dairoku studio in Aomori Prefecture. Since 2015 Kentaro has been running Dairoku, focusing on producing furniture that functional but full of character.
