Each piece is carefully crafted using incense manufacturing techniques that have been passed down for over 400 years. It is a luxurious and sophisticated scent that is woven with rare fragrant woods that have been popular in traditional Japanese incense culture and carefully selected rich fragrances. Contains Kyara (the highest quality agarwood from Vietnam).
Kara was nurtured by the eternal workings of nature. Its noble and profound fragrance has a warm depth of nutmeg and birch. The emotional sweetness of cistus and vetiver creates an exotic aftertaste.
Kyara refers to the highest grade of agarwood produced in Vietnam (also known as Kaya incense), and is an extremely rare and expensive fragrant wood that is rarely produced today. When an Achilaria tree rots in the soil or becomes a dead tree, a fungus grows there, and over a long period of time, that part turns into resin, and this part emits a fragrance. Among agarwood, the one with the best fragrance is called kyara. Resinization occurs due to various factors in nature, but the detailed process is not known. It is said that it takes nearly 100 years for this to happen, making it truly a mysterious product of the natural world. In the past, it was a top-class fragrant tree that was owned by powerful people such as emperors and generals to show off their status.
